The Traveling for Happiness Awards 2026 have just announced their results—international accolades that highlight tourism initiatives aimed at creating a real and positive impact.
In this edition, the jury has recognized two of the projects developed at Salobre Hotel Resort & Serenity, highlighting the hotel's commitment to tourism centered on people's well-being and respect for the environment. Below, we share the details of these two recognitions.
True luxury on vacation is achieving total disconnection and, above all, restful sleep. With this premise in mind, the Tempo Program was born, an initiative that has been awarded first prize in the Holistic Health category.
This program goes beyond offering comfortable and quiet facilities. Through the Tempo Program, guests have the opportunity to analyze their sleep quality during their stay. Based on this study, they receive a personalized medical diagnosis with specific guidelines to help them sleep and rest better in their daily lives. The main goal is for the days of rest at Salobre to translate into a lasting health improvement, even after returning home.
👉 If you are looking for a vacation focused on personal care, discover everything we offer at Tempo.
The second recognition went to the Amigos del Jardín project, which was named a finalist in the Botanical Sustainability category.
The outdoor environment at Salobre is designed to be much more than just a decorative or landscaping element; it is a true sanctuary for Canarian biodiversity. Currently, the resort's gardens are home to over 4,300 plants belonging to 150 endemic and native species.
This project seeks to protect and highlight the natural wealth of Gran Canaria, turning walks around the hotel into an educational experience that connects guests with the local territory. Reaching the finals of these awards provides a great boost to continue working on the conservation of our environment.

These results at the Traveling for Happiness Awards 2026 reflect a different way of understanding hospitality: prioritizing projects with scientific rigor and environmental sensitivity over passing trends.
If you would like to enjoy a few days of tranquility in an environment designed for your well-being and the care of the planet, we invite you to discover it.
